Ok, so if I'm in Indy how do I watch the Pacers without a cable subscription? I currently pay for YouTube TV.

It looks like I can purchase the NBA League Pass, but it says it gives me accress to all out of market games. I'm assuming that means I won't get the Fox Sports Midwest Indiana broadcast? I have one LG smart Tv and two tv's hooked up to a Roku. Any help is appreciated.

I believe the correct answer is that you subscribe to Uverse, or you drive your ass down to Conseco.

I’ll beat some other smart ass to it. It’s no longer Conseco. I thinks it’s called Gainbridge. Thats not the answer I wanted:

Yeah, I know. I complied with the change to Banker's Life, but after the change to Gainbridge, I dug in my heels and reverted to Conseco, just as I have with the Deer Creek Amphitheater.

I’m still a Market Square guy. Not a great place to sit up high but damn if it didn’t get loud.

Find a stream like nba-streams.cc. It's a PITA, but it's the only way to avoid a cable sub. Not illegal to watch, but the servers are overseas because it is not legal to broadcast

So am i correct that if I pay for the NBA league pass I’m still screwed on YouTube TV?

Yes, Bally bought the FSIndiana rights when foxcorp split apart and then they raised the rates to the providers. Most services (like YTTV) refused to go along with it and it's no longer a part of their packages. There was talk of a Bally Sports streaming channel but it hasn't materialized. You can only watch it on their website/app if you have a valid cable subscription.

Is the Bally/FSIndiana deal with the Pacers? The NBA?

You didn't miss much, unless you're into blown 23 point 3rd quarter leads.

I know not much of TV deals but the teams get to make their own deal, right? I don’t understand why like Channel 8 doesn’t become the official Pacers station. I’m sure the rights are absurd So is it not profitable for a free over the air station?

I’m in the same boat. YTTV…but I’m not paying extra just to catch Pacers games.

buffstreams is your friend.

Just close all popups immediately and, after watching a game, clear your cookies with something like C-cleaner, if you're not into getting continual banner ads for sports betting sites and some other interesting things that might pop up.

It's tricky, you will get a popup ad even when trying to adjust volume, or trying to go full-screen, or whatever. Pop-up blockers don't seem to stop it. But once the stream starts to play it is pretty good HD video and pretty stable if you have good internet.

VPN is advisable

The answer is, get the league pass, and get a VPN to hide the fact you are in the Indy blackout zone. If that doesn’t work, the nba league pass people will refund your money.
