Hmmmm

CDC is also tracking multiple clusters of monkeypox that have been reported within the past two weeks in several countries that don’t normally report monkeypox, including Portugal, Spain, and the United Kingdom. It’s not clear how people in those clusters were exposed to monkeypox but cases include individuals who self-identify as men who have sex with men.

“Many of these global reports of monkeypox cases are occurring within sexual networks.

There have been many monkeypox outbreaks, the last one in the USA being in 2003, with 47 cases. All came from exposure to infected prairie dogs, who contracted it from infected animals imported from Africa.

It's not an airborne virus and all transmission in the past has been rodent-to-human. Maybe it can be spread human-to-human via body fluids, as evidenced by this latest pattern of cases.

It is by no means weird or suspicious that people like Bill Gates feared another emergence of a virus that has emerged often in the past: yearly in Africa, and in 1958 and 2003 in the USA.

This doesn't seem like one to worry too much about, barring major mutations, which of course you can seek to avoid by being prepared with treatments.

Did you see the nti link and the Scenario Design Summary? I hate to tell you this, but there was one from the UN, same dates regarding Covid when it broke. You don't find that odd? And the dates odd? And the fact that its already in circulation odd? Call me crazy this makes twice now.

Thread from a prominent virologist with everything you need to know about monkeypox:
