and what are we drinking tonight?
This matchup sure had a lot more shine on it back in November. This had all the makings of a potential top-10 matchup. That didn't quite work out and we have 2 teams headed in opposite directions. Sort of. UCLA had won 7 in a row before losing in the other Assembly Hall earlier this week. That win streak coming off the heels of a 4 game losing streak. We are all well aware of our struggles, but also the big win in East Lansing on Tuesday.
So which teams will show up? UCLA should be well rested since they've already been in the Midwest for the week. No jet lag there. Will we be riding high after the big win or did we empty the tank? Honestly, I have no idea what to make of either team. We are a 2-point underdog at home, so Vegas doesn't like our chances. I'm mixed. It would be just like this team to get all full of themselves after 1 win and lay a big fat egg tonight. But also wouldn't surprise me to see them playing with confidence and win this one.
I'm gonna try to stay positive and pick a W tonight. A close one.
