Well, you asked for it!

Q: What has 6 legs, is 7' tall, and beats Purdue?

A: Florida State's front court.

Well, beating on little brother up north is no big deal...seems everyone can do that...Florida State is for real.

They will play half court. Play defense and like to force turnovers. But IU will outrebound them, will attempt to take their guards down and IU will hit free throws to win this. (Edited after CAM's latest, yesterday: Phin probably won't play in this game.)

Florida State is likely favored by a little...except in AH by the faithful Hoosier fans, the IU team, the media, the zebras, the force....

FSU 68; IU 73 TGI@AH!

I’ll take a 1 point win.

65-64 IU. Trace scores off of an Offensive Rebound. FSU takes the last shot but misses it.

FWIW, IU is favored by 2.5

I don't like that we won't have Phin tonight. Score will be in the low 70s or high 60s.

I'd rather be confident in an IU win than praying for an IU win.

IU 70
FSU 68

IU's new ability to shoot FTs this year will allow them to win tight games. I don't know if this will tight but I think it's probable because it's the best team IU will have played to this point. IU wins by 5 with a score in the 70s.

IU 69 - FSU 66

Our best defensive effort of the year and TJD and Brunk live at the FT line.

FSU's been through the grind, IU has not. A soft SOS yields fools gold so comparing stats is ridiculous.

I like our team but moving from creams and mush to solid foods is going to be a big shift. How this team responds to a defense that's more firm than puff-pastry is too difficult to predict.

FSU 74; IU 59

I just noticed that FSU is ranked (17th AP \19th coaches) for the first time this season.

You gotta think fsu's players are going to come in with that additional hunger in mind.

Good I Say, the better they play the better for our experience going forward

I think IU needs to have stellar guard defense tonight and be patient with post offense. The Hoosiers need to get to the line and hit them, and if possible, score in transition. And of course, they cannot commit 9 turnovers a half. Need to protect the ball, particularly Green and Durham.

Remember that this team gave up everything to Purdue's post players, then went 1-17 from 3, and still won. IU should be able to take full advantage if they cannot defend the post entry, but I'd like to see Brunk keep the ball high and not wait to long before he makes a move or passes.

Also, Armaan, Id like for him to focus on driving in transition, and passing. Be patient on those J's. They will probably pack it in, so guys need to step into the jumpers and anticipate off of screen curls. But still, take good shots. Don't be lulled to trigger bomb. IU must stick to an inside out strategy.

Yup you underestimated IU big time. Nice prediction, NOT!
It wasn’t that bad. I predicted a win and got IU’s score exactly right so I didn’t underestimate IU offensively. I predicted FSU would score 8 more points so IU is better defensively than I expected. I’ll be happy with these kind of results all season!
