Personally, I’d merge the INS and the unemployment office.

Plenty of jobs. Put ‘em on a bus and let them start a job the next week.

“You now live in Louisville. This is your address. You now work at McDonalds on Highway 5. Here is your temporary work permit. They expect you at 8:00 am Wednesday. If you need help, call this number. Welcome.”

If they refuse a job, send them to DC.

I guess populists are gonna populist or whatever you call this schtick, but the US is actually going to have to replace the kids we aren’t having (and then some) to have a growing economy. Also, it turns out economies are more important than primitive tribal fears.
