Not bad for a bunch of relatively unrecruited Sun Belt and MAC guys... Not bad...

Congratulations to our TEAM and our Staff !!!

I apologize for under estimating you last Spring...

The 2nd half of that Bucket Game was an artistic masterpiece...
stretching back as far as my mind can go, I do not recall a more dominant Indiana Football performance than yesterday--that includes the Western Illinois game. I mean Purdue did absolutely nothing Our staff ran circles around Purdue's coaches. Comparing Cig and staff to Walters and his crew, is like comparing ice cream to horse manure. I hope they give Walters another year, because Purdue is the Titanic halfway down to the ocean bottom, and one year with Walters and Purdue will hit bottom and not be salvageable without serious cash. If they give Walters another year, he will have to overpay for every recruit and won't have the luxury that Cig did of having his JMU guys come with him.

11 and freaking 1. The impossible happened. Amazing year, amazing story.

A couple questions: 1) why does Penn St get the bid over us for the B10 championship game? I don't really want us playing in it, but we have the same overall and conference record, correct? So, how did they get it automatically? 2) Has there ever been a better turnaround in college football history? What were we last year: 3-9? To 11-1? Think it might be the greatest turnaround ever. We may not be at OSU/Top 5 level, and we definitely got favors from the schedule, but just an amazing turnaround.

Penn State won the tie- breaker: cumulative opponent conference record.

Knew it had to be something definitive, because no one ever questioned it, but I also never heard anyone explain it. It almost felt as thought it was: "well, they're Penn St, and you're IU!". I think that is part of why I never heard it explained. Also why the SEC and OSU have reacted so strongly to IU. They aren't going to let anyone into the elite tier willingly.
