Lower taxes on working class gents and ladies is stupid? You do realize this idea is stupid?
You’re under qualified Jim!I know good full-time bartenders (that means about 30 hours/wk) who pull in close to or even just over 6 figures. Tax free? I'm reupping my liquor license and updating my resume.

There are already very detailed regulations about what can be classified as a tip.Why not reclassify every commission check anyone makes as a tip?
That’s cool with me.Why not reclassify every commission check anyone makes as a tip?
What about those wait staff at higher end places that get $200, $300, $400 tips per table and run 20-30 tables a night? working class?Lower taxes on working class gents and ladies is stupid?

Where would this place be? I need a job there. They’d be making 7 digits a year. To answer your question, they could cap it at certain amount. What about those wait staff at higher end places that get $200, $300, $400 tips per table and run 20-30 tables a night? working class?
release the nippleRelease the tips!
Manhattan, Miami, Bawston, Mineapolis, Indy, DFW.......... I could go on. I've spent the last 13 years in and out of those places. 5 people, $1,000 dinner. It's real.Where would this place be? Well worth the "allow adds" that I had to do, just so I could fact check it!release the nipple
Nipples were freed all around the world this weekend
Yes, there are bare nipples in this post. Obviously.metro.co.uk
Do you really? The attractive ones here are all Mia. I assumed it was bc of $I know good full-time bartenders (that means about 30 hours/wk) who pull in close to or even just over 6 figures. Tax free? I'm reupping my liquor license and updating my resume.
It’s no mystery why UPS has demonstrated itself to be by far the best in shipping. Hiring. They have discernmentRegardless of how this plays out, Trump shifting the Overton window away from income and corporate taxes and towards other sources of revenue is an EXCELLENT thing for the country.
I understand what you’re getting at, but your numbers were still way high. There isn’t anyone in Indy making 2 million a year as a waiter. I doubt there is anyone making 200k.Manhattan, Miami, Bawston, Mineapolis, Indy, DFW.......... I could go on. I've spent the last 13 years in and out of those places. 5 people, $1,000 dinner. That's not a thing. You're talking about a table with $1000 average tab before alcohol. If you wait tables in a joint like that, you only have one table in your section, and you'll probably only wait on two different groups there, three if you're lucky, in one night. What about those wait staff at higher end places that get $200, $300, $400 tips per table and run 20-30 tables a night? working class?
Even a good waiter at a very high end restaurant isn't likely to pull in more than 60-70K per year, and that's at the outlier zone. Bartenders have a higher ceiling because they can hit a volume that waiters can't touch.I understand what you’re getting at, but your numbers were still way high. Ok if you all say so. They may not get 20-30 tables a night, nor do they work 7 days a week I am sure. But I've given, and every one of my 10-12 sales associates, have given A LOT of 2-3-400 tips. Some times, several times a week. As well as our competitors, venders and clients. That's not a thing. You're talking about a table with $1000 average tab before alcohol. Thanks for typing "A LOT" rather than "alot."Ok if you all say so. They may not get 20-30 tables a night, nor do they work 7 days a week I am sure. What other sources are you thinking about? I can already sense the debt climbing like crazy the next 4 years. King of Debt is in charge.Regardless of how this plays out, Trump shifting the Overton window away from income and corporate taxes and towards other sources of revenue is an EXCELLENT thing for the country.

What you don't know is what's happening behind the scenes. When you go to those restaurants, every minute your server isn't at your table, he/she is doing something for your table. That's how you get that level of service. When they are getting that much money from one table, they stay focused on that one table.Ok if you all say so. Do you even understand the math you are throwing around? A $200 tip 20 times a night? That's $40,000 per night! That's not a thing that happens. Not even in server fantasy land, much less the real world.
Oh I am very well aware of all they put in to give great service. No question at all. What you don't know is what's happening behind the scenes. Maybe ultra high end, in HCOL locales. My brother used to make a lot working fine dining in Miami area like 20 years ago. But needed to be very knowledgeable on wine, etc.... Still very difficult
