Yep. Snitker knew how to get them to do what they can do as well as they can do it. He's been doing that all year with a variety of players when they're not hurt . . . Riley, Camargo, Culberson, Joyce, Duvall, Echeverria, Inciarte, Flying Leg-Kick Cervelli, Hamilton, Ortega, Jackson, Tomlin, . . . who'd have figured Fried would be a key middle reliever in the NLDS? I just shake my head at the way Snitker's gotten these guys to contribute in key moments . . . .
The best part of the win last night? GrannySope has been a Cards fan for over 85 years. And because GrandpaSope took a job in Milwaukee as the Braves' management's corporate pilot in 1957, they made me a Braves fan for life. Who'd have thunk it?
