Gonzaga was pushing hard to be the final visit for Nick Dorn but the 6'7" wing from Elon decided he had seen enough and he skipped his planned trip to Spokane, committing to Darian DeVries and the Hoosiers on Thursday evening.

James Scott would make a lot of sense with this group of perimeter players.

Dorn could be a guy that blows up playing in a system that creates quality perimeter shots. I think I saw a scouring quote about Dorn, " Is he a great shooter or just a good shooter? Remains to be seen."
Scott and one of Fredrick/Curtis unless he wants both or a PF bench guy.

Good or great is better than we have had the past 10 years. GoHoosiers!

Pure catch and shoot 3 man. Could be useful as a back up wing.
More than that, he also shoots off two dribble moves, pull ups and gets to the line far more than a common catch and shoot does. If it translates to this level he's a good pick up. If.

I don't think much of it will translate but I haven't seen how Devries plays yet. Still- big volume 3pt shooter can't be bad to have.

He will be the biggest surprise for us on the Hoosiers next year. This time next year most of us will look back and think how important it was to land him. I feel his best days are ahead for him. Definately has the good genes.

So last years WVU team took more threes than any other teams DeVries coached. (26-27)So it will be interesting to see if this team will follow that trend or shoot more. His teams were closer to 20-22 takes.
Things are going to look very different than what we've been watching. I can't believe we've had a decade of teams that couldn't shoot for shit.

Conerway, Wilkerson, Dorn, DeVries, Bailey... I'd say that lineup, which has a very decent chance of being the starting lineup and/or one of the main lineups we see a lot of... I'd say they'd shoot a decent amount of 3s...
