I'm really wondering how the hell we only had Rourke and CJ West invited to the combine. We are still not getting any respect, despite the season we had and how these guys performed. Justice Ellison, Ty Son Lawton, Myles Price, Ke'Shawn Williams, Miles Cross, Trey Wedig, James Carpenter, Lanell Carr Jr, Jailin Walker, Shawn Asbury and Terry Jones Jr are all eligible. You are honestly telling me not a couple of those should have been invited? I will go on a limb, too, and say I bet at least 1 of these guys makes an NFL roster. So in my mind, with 329 invites and only 224 picks in the draft (32 teams X 7 rounds), if anyone makes an NFL roster that wasn't invited then they royally F'ed up. The Colts better at least take a look at a few of these guys as free agents.

I know I'm biased, but some of the plays that Price and Williams made showing their moves and speed they have.....and Ellison with his size and combination of speed and power.....I just really think they should be in the top 329. Maybe not all of them, but damn, some. But like I said, if just one of them make a roster, then I'm right. That would be jumping over 125 players that they thought were better than them. We shall see.

Out of curiosity, I googled players drafted that were not invited to the combine. Found this article from last year, mentioning the top 10 players of all time:

Johnny Unitas should’ve been an honorary member of that list. Drafted in the ninth round by the Pittsburgh Steelers and then cut before the season started.

Yeah, seeing a lot of raves for C.J. Very cool. A little shorter than some, but explosive.

I was thinking that the first really big year of NIL and transfers seems like college football will still remain with at least the feel of college football. C.J. comes in and plays great and quickly he's our guy and a Hoosier. Maybe we won't lose all of that.
