He is the kinda guy that didn't give a shit who we recruited, he believes in himself and that he will get on the court. Man I want him to excel. I think I am most excited to see him.I'm rooting for him, Strong commitment to Hoosiers, worked hard on bench, gym and classroom ad he used a year to heal up, and hoping he does. My kind of hoosier. Hope it works for him, and US.
For sure up around 12 feet, which is insane. How high is he getting on that? Saw someone guess 45". Not sure if its that high, but good night that's a vertical!
I am hoping he is a better shooter than Steve. Man, that guy couldn't shoot.Wow. Steve Hart pt.2
Newton HS teammates.I heard or read that Jakai and UConn's Stephen Castle were teammates.
Didn't happen to mention if this was in HS or just in AAU.
Anybody know?
Curious, if it was in HS, what their Junior Year stat line comparison was like.

Three years ago, Newton said his vertical was around 42".
Hart and Wilkerson. IUs backcourt of the future everyone was so excited about in 1993.I am hoping he is a better shooter than Steve. Man, that guy couldn't shoot.
To be honest, I've seen Cav get much higher than that. But it was at a Dave Matthew's Band concert. For sure up around 12 feet, which is insane.
They'd compete with the Dream Team...Mgbako looks like Giannis now...etc, etc...winning the summer workout season again.... !
Yeah, I've just had enough of the rah-rah videos and flexing pics, etc...They'd compete with the Dream Team...Mgbako looks like Giannis now...etc, etc...
It is good to see the new guys in IU gear though...
He was a fringe top 50 kid prior to his injury. Has every tool imaginable to be a high level basketball player for this university. Staying the course and obviously staying healthy this year are priorities #1 and 2. He'll get his chance one day,I thought Newton was a sleeper last season. Explosive athlete who competed with and against guys like Castle and Collier in high school and more than held his own. Underrated shooter, could be a great defender, the body of a grown man, hard worker, and a guy who could come in and push some of these transfers to the bench if they don't put in the effort.
Yes the tiles do look like a two foot scale. An an inches above the rim setup would seem typical. Even if it’s only 11’ … it couldn’t have been done on a bum knee. For sure up around 12 feet, which is insane.
are you a quad specialist?Yes the tiles do look like a two foot scale. An an inches above the rim setup would seem typical. Even if it’s only 11’ … it couldn’t have been done on a bum knee.
More importantly, the quads look evenly developed, which says he should be a full time summer activity participant.
Did take a college course on athletic training taught by a licensed physical therapist.are you a quad specialist?
would make you as much or more of a quad specialist as anyone on here with that resume.Did take a college course on athletic training taught by a licensed physical therapist.
