Team played well at times. There never seems to be a plan in place to close out a game. Poor coaching yet again
Yes. I'm sure that's what he told him to do.2.2 seconds to go and he has Romeo stand in the far corner.
The weave.Agreed. What do these guys practice for end of game situations?

It reminds me of Harlem Globetrotter basketball. All we need is the confetti in a bucket. The weave.
Before I could say that CAM had no plan at the end of the game I would have needed to be in the prior huddle with the team. It appeared to me that CAM was surprised at what the team actually did.
I think Al’s shot surprised CAM.
ya, it seemed to. Archie went right up to him after the miss with two fingers up. I'm guessing the play didn't call for Romeo to stay in the corner or for Al to shoot a 35 footer. lol
but these great basketball minds know what they saw. lol
Knight team?? So what?Very possibly true, but on the other hand, I never once saw a Knight team end a final last second possession that way.

Then why do you support our current clown coach so adamantly?mostly agree. and i'm down with hiring the next Knight, as our 330 other teams. lol

Maybe the defense moved, ya know, since they're not cardboard cutouts without any will of their own.My point was that Knight always had a plan at the end, and although I don't expect a similar coach, I do think that possession was abysmal and fully on Miller for poor design, preparation or communication. The execution is on the players but when your guys call a second timeout because they don't know what to do and the result is a 40 foot airball, that is coaching.
And also, the assistants had no clue either. I was watching them and they were clueless. That means whatever they planned to run was probably on the spot, and it resulted in a terrible shot from 35-40 feet out by Durham.
