NCAA investigating Louisville's pay-to-play scandal, Coach Chris Mack says

The NCAA was not allowed to investigate until the FBI's investigation was finished. The NCAA notified the university in March that it would be conducting a new investigation into the pay-for-play scandal.

The FBI's investigation led to the firing of head coach Rick Pitino and Athletic Director Tom Jurich. The program was already on probation for a sex scandal involving strippers being provided to recruits. That scandal led to UofL's 2013 national championship and over 100 wins being vacated.

Jurich is gone, Pitino is gone, Martin is gone. UL will get punished, but Bowen got nothing, he never played, and the house was cleaned. They aren’t getting the death penalty, and they shouldn’t. Mack’s going nowhere, to the chagrin of IU fans.

I'll be surprised if they do much to Louisville. I hope they drop the hammer but the NCAA's track record indicates a slap on the wrist for money schools. UNC got off, Arizona is getting recruits like everything is cool, Kansas allegedly offered Zion, and Duke signed him. Yet nothing so far. I'll be shocked. Hell, IU got more than those schools for the Sampson mess. Certain schools seem to have that teflon coating. It sucks!

Chris Mack is a good recruiter but a mediocre coach. He will never win anything at Louisville. Chris Holtman is the guy we missed on. He does a lot with a little.

You got me. I was inaccurate by greatly understating the number of screen names you have gone through over the years. We can only hope that someday soon, when basketball season gears up, this forum will smell much fresher as the mods finally get around to taking out the trash (you).

I just looked to see when Ordfan last posted but I find nothing. Not one post. I’m fact, not one post from him since you joined in December 2017. So, while I’ve only had one name, you’ve clearly had several. In other words, you’ve just admitted you’re a fraud. That’s for confirming, troll. You made this easy.
