All the kids know him from tik tok. My daughter follows him. Oh and zeke. Episode 8 or 9 in my opinion is way crazier!!!

Hey have you kept up with real housewives of Beverly Hills? I let it go. Seems like crazy shit going on with Mauricio and Kyle richards. Debating whether to add it to the list

No, I gave up on the Housewives. Too many to keep track of.

Wife caught the flu, so I spent last night on the couch. I binged "Court of Gold" on Netflix, so good.

Kevin Durant has got a fan for life. The insight he gave on his view of the game was so refreshing. Also hard not to root for someone as down to earth as Bam Adebayo.

Worth the watch, IMO.

Anyone spent the almost four hours to watch the Brutalist? Favorite for Best Picture. Adrian Brody is superlative but I think I liked it, but didn’t love it. More interesting to me than enjoyable, I think

Not really interested. Too much.

Finished Beast Games. Wow. Thought that last game would take an hour.

I know! I bet they weren’t happy it was so quick. Pretty anticlimactic.
It was incredible that he did that, though. I still can't believe the guy who took the million there at the end. I knew it was going to be the woman who would have been voted out.

Yeah she would have been for sure.

Anyone catch American Primeval yet? I’m currently through episode 3. It’s pretty solid. Not sure of the historical accuracy but damn those trailblazers headed west had a tough road. Just another reminder of the shit the Native Americans had to deal with. I also can’t imagine the church of LDS are to happy with this series.

We are about at the same place in the series. Brutal and violent. I’m now interested in finding a good history book about the LDS settlement of Utah and the militia. I’d like to know how accurate the show is about that part.

Yes liked it. And Tim Riggins always helps

Surely some of you have seen Paradise? So so good. And Sterling Brown as always, excellent. The penultimate episode ( 7) is best tv I’ve seen in awhile.

Dayum, zeke, I thought you and me were on the same wavelength...

I was really really disappointed in Paradise. I found it clunky and disjointed and the extensive use of flashbacks to drive the story line was waaay overdone. Not to mention how the ending was so disappointing.

So much potential. So little delivered. I was really hoping they would redeem themselves in the finale, but it was totally unsatisfying.

I didn’t love the ending and who it was. But I really liked all the rest.

We are at like episode 5 now, I think. We have enjoyed it thus far. I agreewith Mark to a degree, but dystopian stories are always tricky to tell. I think of The Road and Cormack is a damned genius.

Edit- Finished it last evening. Not sure how I feel about the ending. I guess they had to leave the door open for a season 2, but it was pretty lame IMO.

They couldn't decide what kind of show they were doing. Murder mystery? Apocalypse sci-fi? Political thriller? Ended up as a mish-mash of all these, none of them done well.

Watched Jersey Boys with the kids last night. Not revolutionary, surprisingly different than the musical, but can be enjoyed by teenagers and parents and the R rating isn't for sex or nudity.

The actor who plays Franki Valli was the original one on Broadway and he is the one singing in the movie. Eastwood recorded all the songs live, with live bands.

Anyone watching Shrinking with Harrison Ford and Jason Segal on Apple TV? Wife and I just started and binged the first 3 episodes. So far so good and takes a nice light approach to therapy. I believe the head writer is Brett Goldstein of Ted Lasso fame.

New season of Reacher is up. It's a guilty pleasure of ours.

Hearing great things about Adolescence. Will check it out soon.

I love it. One of my favorites.

I watched Adolescence this weekend. It’s very different. Kind of a case study more than anything. Excellent acting, especially by the young kid. And only 4 episodes.
