Agree with that. Regardless, you asked kids to buy in and sacrifice for you and the team, especially in the first year. I hope he reached out and spoke with every player directly, but it is an odd thing. What you said about his wife sounds plausible and I wondered about that possibility before I heard it. And, guess what? It was a good career move.
WVU has a great and passionate fanbase. Primarily a football school, but have always had a good bball environment. I hope they find a good coach that stays and builds it back up and that we have a guy that can do the same here. It's actually a fanbase I've always liked and hate that they have a negative view of IU, where none existed before. A great hire and wins will have them all forgetting about DD.
