More racism from Trump

I'm not sure why you'd run for congress if you truly didn't want to move the country in a positive direction. If they really had subversive plans, someone should have told them they have 531 other members and the other branches of government to contend with.

Sometimes I think the people who deliver the news to conservatives watch too many bad spy shows.

You appear to have a problem with that. Why? I don’t generally check someone’s religion , or lack thereof , before deciding how to vote. Do you?

Perhaps they can do a better job than the so-called Christians that populate much of the Republican side of Congress.

The Muslim truly isn't a religion. It's a system for world domination. It's 100% incompatible with the western world, especially America, and the US Constitution.

Should good people refuse to work for republicans or submit to being supervised by republicans?

Good people will have to assess the current state of the Party of Trump and decide for themselves. Personally, I can't see myself ever considering supportng a candidate of that party.

What's funny - and entirely predictable - is that the Fox News watching crowd is coming to Trump's defense. One of my second cousins is a die hard conservative and posted this picture today suggesting that it proves Trump isn't a racist:

As if a photo op in the White House proves anything, other than he has the wherewithal to arrange for a photo op.

That wasn’t my question to @Rockfish1. He has posted many times about republicans being bad people. He obviously hates republicans.

I simply asked does he believe good people should work for republicans or allow themselves to be supervised by a republicans.

Tell us how Christianity is different! No, I am not a Muslim and never has been. Yes, I was born and raised as a Christian but not anymore.

Some people tend to find problems with people who support racism, sexism, sexual assault, fraudulent charities, calling anybody who disagrees with them "treasonous", etc.

I don't know when this became shocking to say

Should you work for them? Kind of hypocritical working for racists isn’t it? If you believe republicans are bad people, don’t take any money from them.

I'm married to a Republican. But she is disgusted by Trump. Not sure she'll vote Democrat, but she is repulsed by the President. I can live with that.

Problem is, nationally there is no more Republican Party, only a Party of Trump. A few members of Congress timidly raised their voices this week, but not so much they might actually attract the President's attention.

Agreeance.. A penny spent is a vote for Trump. Let's tank the economy. That'll teach Trump a lesson.

Anyone know who this is? Seems strange he should just come out of nowhere to start slamming "this board". I'm nowhere near tech savy enough to determine what former poster he is,but I'm pretty sure he didn't just wander in off the street as a New Years Resolution...

Russian bot? Gives lots of recycled comments.

Do you mean like Christianity?
I am surprised that you would put Muslim at the same level as Christianity. Knowing that you hate Muslim, does that mean you also hate Christianity?

Constitution? Maybe I am wrong but I thought it talks about religious freedom.

These two paragraphs contradict each other.

When Trump tweets his followers, the faces he imagines are in the crowd chanting "USA" at his rallies. There aren't women of color in this picture

When he envisions political opponent's, faces such as the four women in question come to mind.

Are these visions those of a racist or someone who knows who is for and against his reelection? Above all else, Trump wants to be a winner in 2020. It is just that simple.

Why not apply your intelligence to research rather than idle fairy-tale happy endings with no basis in reality?

Is that picture in his mind by coincidence or by design?

The pretzel twisting you're engaging in here is striking, hoot.

Singling out four American women of color and telling them to go back to where they came from (America!) is textbook racism and white supremacy.

You may argue the "why"-- that it is calculated racism to help his re-election but you cannot argue the "what"

It couldn't have been any clearer, even if he had walked into a room of American black civil rights leaders whose ancestors are descended from slaves and shouted "You N-words need to get the F back to Africa because you are ruining our country"

Would you be disappointed if he says that? Some seem unfazed by anything he says or does, including raping a teenager at one of the Epstein get-togethers.
Why don’t you walk in a room that’s full of 9/11 victims family’s and see what they think of these 4 women.

Shooter, just a couple of comments.

First of all, for many years on this forum I have contended that the terms racist and liar are misused and over used in our political commentary.

Secondly, a group of civil rights activists made up of people of color may very well have ancestors of both slaves and slave owners. Skin color alone tells us little about ancestors or race.

Trump's Tweets and comments are arguably sometimes racist, but almost always are highly debateable as matters of fact. Simply put, his tweets and remarks are often unpresidential and divisive.

Having said that and in trying to live up to my own rhetoric, I tried hard not to call Trump a liar or racist. It isn't easy.

You do realize that two of those women are Puerto Rican and African-American, right? And only one was not born in the U.S. Also, since 2001, you’re more likely in America to be victimized by radical white right wing terrorists than Muslim terrorists.

I don't recall ever calling him a racist, until now. But when the sky is blue, i call it a blue sky. But if the sky looks green to you instead of blue, call it what you like.

Not calling him a liar, though? His proven lies are in the thousands. Or is it over 10,000 now? In this case, saying that these native born Americans were born in other (presumably "shithole") countries was clearly a bald-faced lie. Not backtracking on it is doubling down on the lie.

To be fair, you've claimed yourself as a born again Christian in the past. Perhaps you have changed religions?

Hmmm I was baptized at a very late age in life. It actually helped change some thought patterns I hade and still have a different understanding now, on most things. I don’t recall saying I was “born again” though as I’ve never felt that even when first coming up out of the water.
Having said that, there was nothing in my post to whoevadaphuck I was responding to that mentioned anything about religion.
Who ever it was totally threw the Jesus card in there, I didn’t.

Sorry for the delay, I had to start drinking again before I had the balls to see what cannot worms I opened last night. But I’m rehydrated now so, GAME On!! lol

Just an educated guess based off the large overlap of those who call themselves Christians and those who blindly follow Trump, while not caring about his ridiculous and un-Christian behavior.

I just think you just may be forgetting that your actions are supposed to be following in Jesus's footsteps. And I think if you honestly examined Trump's actions with the consideration in mind of how Jesus would act and what type of behavior Jesus would support, rather than rushing to defend "your team" on the right, you would both be behaving in a much different manner and be coming to an incredibly different conclusion on Trump than you have in this thread. And really this applies to any religion you may be. Just trying to help a friend out.

In short, you nothing about “Christians”. Christians sin, they understand that, they are forgiven (except from Democrats) and they try better for the future. But thanks for your assumptions and being a religonphobe bigot.
Actually it’s refreshing to meet someone who’s perfect. Keep up the good work.

So you think Jesus would think highly of Trump and his actions?

What specifically does Jesus prefer of the racism, sexism, cheating on his wife (soon after having a kid with her), vilifying immigrants, sleeping with a porn star, lying for ages about paying that porn star hush money, admitting to sexual assault, numerous rape accusations, admitting to walking in on underage children in their dressing rooms at his pageants, his "shithole" countries statement, setting up fraudulent charities, manipulating online polls to boost his ego, tax cuts for the rich, denial of climate change, the "lock her up" slogan, calling for the death of the Central Park 5 even after they were found innocent, saying on national TV that he would date his daughter, saying "there were good people on both sides" in Charlottesville, making fun of the disabled reporter, using the presidency to profit, attempting to ban all Muslims from entering the country and calling people "treasonous" for daring to question him?

"Born again" may have been my phrase, not yours. It was a while ago. And you're right that you didn't make it part of this conversation.

I don’t understand why you would try so hard not to speak the truth about someone. That doesn’t make sense to me to try to beat around the bush about it. When someone is a pathological liar and has been a racist his entire adult life, I think it’s up to people of character and integrity to call those people out. Wha5 is gained by being silent about it?

Trump is a racist. Because he has conquered the Republican party, the GOP machinery is also racist.

Whether or not Trump actually believes he is a racist is immaterial. Whether or not individual Republicans in government are racist is immaterial. They espouse racist policies and use racist rhetoric to drive voter turnout by stoking white racism. They are functionally racist.

Call an apple an apple.
