I’m surprised by the speed at which Trump has fvcked things up. He took a strong economy, the envy of the world, and in just three months caused the markets to plummet, slowed growth, refueled inflation and set off recession warnings.
He’s badly damaged our global alliances and disrupted the world order. He sold a co-presidency for $275 million, has created conflicts and national security issues with his meme coins and crypto declarations, and has manipulated the markets in a likely effort to facilitate self-dealing and insider trading. He has dealt a body-blow to medical and scientific research with his cuts and appointments. He’s doing his best to undermine his one remaining guardrail - - the judiciary - - and he’s chipping away at the First Amendment.
Other than that he’s been great.
