- Horrendous offensive line play ruins everything. Horrendous offensive line play ruins everything. Horrendous offensive line play ruins everything

---Then--

- Terrible special teams (it shouldn't matter who you're playing, special teams should be solid. Instead we are consistently bad: bad against Idaho and bad against Ohio St)

- Defense on the field constantly because of the two items above.

SIGH

At least Dexter looks promising.

Let's not get too excited about Williams, he was 6 of 19

The thing is that Dexter should have been getting some snaps in games early in the year. He clearly has some ability and brings something different to the game with his mobility. Why the hell our staff wasn't giving him some time before now is just stupid. Baz has been running for his life since big ten play started many moons ago. Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb

Everybody knew what happened this afternoon was coming. Most people aren't paying attention anymore.
I listened to the call-in show with Joe Smith and Ken Bikoff after the game. Not a lot of calls, but those who did were NOT happy. If IU isn’t careful, the remaining (diehard) fans will end up alienated … maybe.

There aren’t that many of us, and we’re all that’s left at this point.

That 6/19 likely has almost everything to do with lack of reps with the first unit over the course of this year. The fact that he was the third QB last week (4th on depth chart in reality with Bazelak out) likely means this week was the first time Dexter got extensive run with the first unit in practice.

The ability with Dexter is there, I think that’s patently obvious. Any green QB is going to struggle on the road against Ohio State, thought that was a given.

Let's see how he does as a starter and if he improves week to week before not getting excited about how much better he is than every other QB IU has, he has already proven he is better in a game.

Coach’s comments about “proving in practice” you deserve to play is old school stubborn At this point.

When you‘re coming off 2-10 at 3-6, trying new things is sorta required, practice or not.

Then seeing a kid do better against Ohio State than our “proven starter” has done against, well, any good team, sorta proves the old evaluation wasn’t very good.

Coaches need to look at talent, not practice, to choose who plays and it showed the old way doesn't work.

Everybody loves the backup's backup shiny new toy. The problem is, nobody here knows what goes on at practice or film study. Bazelek was named the starter for a reason and he wasn't recruited to an SEC school (Mizz) for nothing.
