Bill Maher is funny, so long as it isn’t at my expense, although sometimes he is funny anyway.
Something is killing Democracy and our government. I wouldn’t pin it on Millennials. Pelosi is as histrionic as it gets and she is doing great damage. Trump too for that matter. I posted before about fatherhood and how the destruction of what some call “toxic masculinity” is screwing up everything, not just democracy. That dude at the WaPo should never have apologized or taken down his tweet. He had been feminized.
I think it’s getting worse. Our obsession with groups and group think is the heart of the problem. We seem to have gotten to the point where any dissent from political and social dogma is “bad for democracy”.

This was about millennials in general who were coddled by their parents, not just the far left. No doubt the far left parents were worse but it appears most millennials, regardless of their backgrounds, were treated with kid gloves while being raised.
Ironically though, their coddling parents were the baby boomers that Maher defends.
