Yes, in the wallets of those paying higher tuition and in the wallets of taxpayers.
As a father I don't think it's enough. It doesn't cripple them like they crippled the kids. Sad sell out.

While $500,000,000 is not an insignificant amount, the damage is incalculable and MSU, as a state institution, passes along the cost and suffers minimally.
What should be done is for the NCAA to shut down the athletic department and all sports for 5 years. Everybody is eligible to transfer immediately to another school. MSU pays all costs. Further, MSU would forfeit all monies from the Big Ten Network for the past 5 years and is not eligible for any money under the present contract for the next 5 years. Izzo, Dantonio and anyone associated with the athletic department and the administration, provided they were in any way remotely concerned with or aware of this, is hereby banned from future employment with any collegiate program or administration.
Perhaps the most dazzling representation made by MSU is that with 332 known victims dating back to 1997, no one at MSU really knew anything about anything for years. MSU even cleared Nasser in 2014 following a University title IX investigation.

And what isn’t really being addressed is the successful redirected focus from coaches involvement/knowledge in the other cases. Football coach gets extension. Check. Izzo let off from answering. Check. Deflection well done.
