Michigan St. #1 seed...

Ridiculous!! Arguably msu could have been a 1 and is likely the top #2. So, what did the committee do? Award them with potential match vs top seeded duke. Do these guys have any clue?? The top # 2 should be in with the worst #1, Gonzaga. SMH.

Instead, UM, who lost 3 times to MSU gets in with Zags.

The (ACC) committee has always attempted to award (ACC) teams with a "strength of schedule" (against non-ACC teams) consideration (After making sure the ACC was given first consideration). This (ACC) committee looks out for all (ACC) teams, regardless of their conference (which means if you're not from the ACC it sucks to be you). Well done!

Duke has an easy path to 8. MSU has a tough one. Probably the toughest.

I thought that was the least balanced assignments on the bracket.

How does the committee set up a possible Michigan State/Minny second round matchup? Always thought it was to be set up to keep same conference from facing each other until S16 at the earliest.

So everyone is starting to figure it out. The FBI and the NCAA are not the same. I agree with you, the fix is always in. It’s the ESPN influence. Fixing is more profitable than good basketball.

The NCAA is a fraud.

Biased Balis spent two days convincing them. It seemed to work.

The field is too large. Go back to 32 or maybe 48 teams. At least half of the teams have zero chance.

Once leagues started growing, sending 8, 9 and I think the ACC sent 10 a few years ago, they got rid of the "can't play another team from your league until the regional final" rule. I get that due to the volume of teams. BUT, MSU possibly getting a BT foe in rd 2, followed by another potential league member, MD is just plain lazy on the committee's part. 3 teams from the BT out of 8 on 1/2 of a bracket?? Ridiculous!!
