I love Michael Lewis. He yelled back at Knight once.
Michael Lewis sure landed on his feet on this situation. He ends up with a promotion to a much better program. I think that Lewis will be a mid major head coach in the next 5 years.
I reported you but I was not sure if I had just cause given the parameters regarding posts on the board. I asked the monitors if it’s OK to report somebody for being an asshole.
M. Lewis was the type of player IU desperately needed the past few years; he was tenacious and he had the confidence and attitude to challenge others around him to play better. While he didn't seem shy about letting his teammates know when they needed to step it up, I remember many times when he was hard on himself when he made an error too. THAT is what I see missing in many college players today; they are quick to judge those around them but when assessing their own deficiencies it seems there is always someone/something else at fault. Players in his day also had a coach who would make certain players knew their place, but of course we all now know that was abusive (tic) behavior. Kudos to Michael Lewis and I hope he is very successful at UCLA and moving forward in his coaching career.

Kind of tough to go back and watch but also kind of fun. Definitely, need some of that feisty attitude on the roster.
Give him credit. He was smart enough not to become an Assistant at UCLA under Alford and follow him out the door.
My brother-in-law was a manager for the basketball team at a mid-major school all four years he was there, and they met Mike Lewis once when he was on the staff of the opposing team. He claims Lewis told them a great story about RMK. According to Lewis, RMK called him to his office for a one-on-one meeting and proceeded to sit there the entire time buck naked. The meeting concluded, and they both went on about their day like nothing unusual had ever happened...
Lol. Rick Majerus did that for a team meeting one time. Hadn’t heard this one about RMK. Ain’t sports great?
