The Canes lost, notable CFP attrition. I think Miami is fine in terms of making the show but will affect positioning.

As long as they win the acc. Likely one bid league.
IU needs as much cushion as they can get just in case we lose. A win locks us in at least #7.
That last second FG propelled BYU over the UTEs, too. Big 12 and the SEC (GA loss at OL’ Miss) are thinning the ranks by pushing up the number of two loss teams.
Utah got totally jobbed in that game. Utah AD let the refs have it post-game.
Big 12 needs BYU to go undefeated. Then get beat in the big 12 championship game. They are a 1 bid conference this and so is the acc. Both will try shenanigans to get 2 in.
