Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas indeed. It’s going to take courage and booze
Murty...
All the best....
My girls are grown now, with kids of their own, but I recall all too well those teen years that you are dealing with now.
I know you give up a lot to stay involved....which speaks very well of you.
Don't stop talking sense to her. She needs it.
I hope her health can be stabilized...
And quit spoiling that boy...lol..
I'm done preachin'

Back to my Russian language studies....

lol no thank god
you're like Landman (without the oil wells)

maybe 'landmine' is more appropriate

So, you’re coming out as VanPastorMan?

Posted nearly the exact same thing one minute earlier on the basketball board. So, you’ve now got three (Lucy, Willdog and Van) going?

Is this a Borg thing!
If truly a single person behind three separate usernames I am very impressed.

Merry Christmas to all.

We did the Chinese thing today given our family celebration was Monday. Wow do they pack them in. After eating at China Star in Ellettsville we drove around Bloomington. The Chinese restaurants were all full, as was IHop which was the only non-Chinese we saw open. I wonder if we will start seeing more restaurants open? Clearly there is a market.

OK, all with younger kids (like 10 and under), what were their best gifts and reactions from opening presents?

So, my kids are pretty savage when it comes to gifts.

My middle kids wrapped her gift to our youngest with first, one roll of packing tape and then 3 complete rolls of duct tape. It legit took 45 minutes for her to get that one gift unwrapped because she didn't want to use a knife. As she was opening the gift, my middle kid told her she had put a lot of thought into that gift... my youngest without missing a beat looked at her and said so did she, that's why she got her a pot scrubber to wash the pots and pans.

Then her big sister came over and she opened a candle from the youngest. The look on my middle kids face was priceless.

Then, my middle child has her grandpa sign a gift bag for her grandmother on Christmas eve. On Christmas, she then took that bag, hid it in the back of the tree at their house so it would be opened last. In that bag was a bright pink thong. The look of her face when she opened it was total embarrassment. Legit tears were running down faces because of laughing so hard.

It was definitely a good time.
