Medal of Honor packages are very closely tracked as they're routed through the chain of command to the approval authority. It's hard to believe packages for then Army Captain Paris Davis were lost twice. Col (ret.) Davis, 83 years old, finally is awarded his Medal of Honor nearly 60 years later. I'm happy he was still alive when he got it last week.
