What's with this myth that we have better Guard play this year?
I just don’t see the talent. Tucker is the only one who I think has potential. The rest can maybe be g-leaguers or can find some employment in an overseas league.

Oh, this team is in the back half of the conference. Iowa, UCLA, and OSU will definitely finish ahead of IU, too. Hell, there’s still Maryland and Rutgers, too.
We do, but the way the offense is structured doesn’t give our guards an advantage. It helps the big man, who incidentally had a career high today. Terrible coaching makes everyone look bad. Just like great coaching, as in Cignetti’s team, makes everyone look good.
it's not a bunch of NBA level talent, but they are talented enough to be a high-level team. Gonzaga doesn't have NBA level talent outside the point guard

No way you watched the last two games and believe IU has talented gaurds. The paid duo has been awful and Trey is worse than last year. Whoever declared Rice and Carlyle worth the investment needs to be fired.

Woodson's offense seems solely focused on passing to a big guy underneath. That removes much of the incentive for the other three to move around much (or learn to shoot better).
You can't help see the energy in Dusty May's coaching and think he's going to get that UM program going.

I root for Vanderbilt some, because I lived in Nashville for 10 years. I like the look of their team this year, and think they found a good coach in Mark Byington. Who I had barely heard of. We stay with the same old. Hope it works.

Byington might still be a possibility (he's only been at Vanderbilt a year) but the buyout would probably be extreme... (as a Woodson replacement in March)...
