Maybe it's time for me to go back to Negative Nancy mode.

After Maryland, I let myself think we were good. It's pretty clear MD was the fluke here, and this is more like how we actually are.

Hell, Rutgers beat Wisconsin. They can easily come into AH and beat us. Hell, Eastern Washington did.

I was always really carefully about getting too excited too early with this team. The flaws never went away they are just getting exposed now. We shot a crazy percentage verses Maryland that will rarely happen again. If ever this year

I don't know why anyone left it....

The Big Ten is bad this year. That and the fact that our shooters got hot from three for a few games are the main reason we were ranked.

Tom Crean=Mike Davis

The offense is different but it gets many of the same kind of shots. Crean is a bit better of a game planner but Davis was far better at teaching defense. Neither of them can consistently put a team together. We basically should plan on being a mediocre up and down type of team until someone with some pull finally gets sick of it and pulls the plug. We are what we are and this is what we are going to be. Get used to it.

I agree.

I was more skeptical early on, especially after the EWU game. We did play very well against Butler, and while still skeptical I could see signs that we could be good. Hell, you saw all my battles with Chico, er, jimtelevision (whatever happened to him?). Then the road wins at NEB and ILL jaded me a little more (those were places where we've really struggled). Then Maryland.

All things considered, a lot to smile about until the last two games.

I don't know how to feel right now.
