Why didn't Cuban draft TJD for the Mavs?
Cut out the middle men and some stuff they manufacture themselves. Growing his formulary. Good stuffI recently spoke to a guy who has been taking chemo meds for a long time for leukemia. He said that he was purchasing meds from Cubans pharmacy for $32 a month that previously cost him almost $6k. I thought that was really interesting.
My problem with government statistics are that they just about always are adjusted to cause the least political damage or promote a political party. In other wrods, they'll come out and say that the number of jobs created in month X was 500,000 and later on they real numbers are released which are normally lower. I haven't really researched that but that's what I've observed from just reading a 2 or 3 times where the numbers were adjusted downward. Maybe I was just unlucky enough to hit the 2 or 3 where they were adjusted downward. I'd like to see the real statistics on that.Mistakes are made with statistics, and they're corrected. Big frickin' deal. I'm with Reagan - "trust but verify."
So he was spending 72k a year on medication, out of pocket? Somehow I doubt itI recently spoke to a guy who has been taking chemo meds for a long time for leukemia. Is that a FACT or a political statement? They were adjusted down for every month Biden was in office.
There may be an outlier here and there....I'm not 100%...but I am sure it was the majority. Is that a FACT or a political statement?
I didn't figure it was but I really didn't know. The 2-3 times I've ran upon an adjustment it's always been down but it's hard for me to believe that all have been down. However, it wouldn't surprise me it it was and that isn't related to the party because it's something both D and R would do.It's not a fact.
How do you buy from his pharmacy?I recently spoke to a guy who has been taking chemo meds for a long time for leukemia. He said that he was purchasing meds from Cubans pharmacy for $32 a month that previously cost him almost $6k. I thought that was really interesting.
I went to his website….this is what medication pricing would look like without PBMsCut out the middle men and some stuff they manufacture themselves. Growing his formulary. Good stuff
Yep. You can see much of the same with needymeds or something like that. They get their formulary directly from manufacturers (donations/discounts etc) and do the same by cutting out the PBMs. Needymeds and a few others are nonprofits. Cuban’s is for profit, which is fine, just gives rise to different acquisitions. I have friends at one of the major PBMs. Make good $I went to his website….this is what medication pricing would look like without PBMs
I’m actually w lifelong on this one. There are out of pocket maximums on any insurance plan that I’ve seen, so how would he pay that much consistently?I recently spoke to a guy who has been taking chemo meds for a long time for leukemia. I’m assuming he’s still buying from a wholesaler…or maybe he’s licensed as one. I didn’t think the manufacturer could sell directly to pharmacies.Yep. He’s actually manufacturing himself too.I’m assuming he’s still buying from a wholesaler…or maybe he’s licensed as one. I didn’t think the manufacturer could sell directly to pharmacies.
His insurance was probably billed 6K….I’m actually w lifelong on this one. There are out of pocket maximums on any insurance plan that I’ve seen, so how would he pay that much consistently?
