Malik Reneau Update

Plus the one has a huge skill set for a 7 footer.
Absolutely. This is the first time I’ve seen Michigan this year. They are going to be tough to handle. When one of your two bigs can help stretch the floor it makes 3 out 2 in work a little better for sure.

5th or 6th time this year I’ve seen Michigan blow a double-digit half time lead in minutes. Dusty May gives me huge Crean vibes without the dork personality. He’s far from a guarantee.
Crean won two big ten titles and went sweet sixteens something the last two coaches couldn't do. If May can win big titles and get us to sweet sixteens sign me up.

Don’t know when he’s gonna be back,” Woodson said. “It’s kind of in the medical (staff’s) hand. I mean, he didn’t tear up anything, but don’t know when he’s gonna come back. I really don’t. I just gotta follow the doctor’s lead and he’s gotta do what he needs to do to get back when he can. But it won’t be any time soon.”

WTF
Word salad 101.

Doubting Reneau's toughness without knowing if he's been medically cleared to play is the dumbest thing to come out of your mouth on this forum and that's saying something. You're an idiot if you think Reneau is holding himself out.
lol you are a piece of work if you don’t think there’s a difference in the culture of the Cignetti team and Woodson.

One plays football as a pocket passer the other plays basketball. I doubt very much that Rourke could have played a single minute of competitive basketball with that injury.

It's a seriously dumb statement to make.

Nah, it’s called toughness.
Nah, its called you nitpicking and making up unfounded shit just because you don't like the coach. Your emotional bias is overriding any actual reasoning ability you have.

Let the coach fail on his on lack of merits. There's no need to make bullshit claims about toughness and culture.

Culture.. lol ... a corp-speak word with vague, arbitrary, easily perverted, ever shifting definition only used to define teams that win or lose.

I doubt Smitty knows much about corporate speak, more like he's parroting his boy Dakich.

Play 4 more then the heart of the conference schedule starts. The next 4 are games 5,6,7 and 8. Still not halfway . Heart would be 9,10,11 and 12 . Good lord why is that’s so hard for you. I’m done with this. Other than draw it on paper I’m at wits end.
Why do you care so much about that?

We're 3-1 in the Big Ten right now. Those wins are in the bank. They all count.

We're 12-3 overall. Those wins are in the bank. They all count, too.

No, the team hasn't always played as well as I want. But they are playing better than they did at that damn stupid diversionary trip against Gonzaga and Louisville.

you should put on a fresh depends before you go to bed
No-o-o-o-o. I don't believe that.

That's too much like those arctic divers that claim they pee inside their wetsuits for warmth just before they hit the cold water.

Why the hell would he care if the Depends originally were fresh or not, if he's really planning to pee in it and then sleep in his own piss for 4-5 more hours?

Crean got blasted more than he should have. He took us from No. -5 to No. 1 in the country.

It was eventually time for him to leave (like all coaches), but he was a good coach that gets blasted too severely.

Not really…he has a torn AcL and still playing. Malik isn’t a torn acl or they would have said so and labeled him out for the year

Culture is real dude. If you don’t think so you obviously haven’t played competitive or collegiate athletics.

The way he was limping around tonight, he doesn’t look like he’s going to play for a good while.
Welp, as we've learned in this thread, there are two types of knee injuries. There is torn ACL which may or may not keep you off the floor depending on how soft you are. Then we have everything else. In that case, without question you're just too soft if you elect not to play. That becomes compounded by the bad culture within the program. Finally, the head coach needs to specify to us exactly what the injury is so we can make the call as to whether it's a serious ACL tear, or whether it's just lack of "toughness".

This kind of info is why I stopped with the premium board. Why pay when you can get expert analysis like this on the freebie?
