I will explain heart to you. 20 Big Ten games. Heart would be 10 or 12. Heart= middle. IU has played 4 conference games. Get a better shovel.
Also...in a conference with Purdue, Michigan State, Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin, not to mention UCLA and Oregon now... games against Minnesota, Nebraska, Rutgers, and Penn State can't be considered "the heart" of our conference schedule...even if they do fall right in the middle.

Play 4 more then the heart of the conference schedule starts. The next 4 are games 5,6,7 and 8. Still not halfway . Heart would be 9,10,11 and 12 . Good lord why is that’s so hard for you. I’m done with this. Other than draw it on paper I’m at wits end.
Lots of people counted on him for 12 to 14 per. Definitely was going to get the shots needed. I’m as disappointed as anyone in what he has done thus far. Maybe he can turn the corner.

It was his last year to ever play. I’m sure Malik is hoping on a career after he completes his junior and senior years. Very different gamble
Rourke will be drafted. He's a 4th or 5th round guy, but he'll be drafted. That's why he took the gamble of playing hurt.
Where's Reneau gonna play? Certainly not in the NBA.

My guess is that Woody wants people/players to stop waiting for Malik to return and start going out and playing with the team we have. Malik will be back when he's back, until then IU has a lot of good pieces to play with. Next man up.
Not sure Malik believes that at this point in his career
It sounds a lot like my daughter's injury I posted earlier about. It was a bruise behind the kneecap. She was able to play with a tape job unlike any I had seen. It looked strange but it worked. My guess is whatever it is needs time for inflammation to improve. It may be an issue the rest of the year. It will be good to get him back and play whatever minutes he can to relieve Ballo.
And they shoot 37% from 3 as a team. The two big offense can work. Shooting is required.
