Can anyone suggest hotels near Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis? Do you know how much it might cost to park at the stadium on Saturday night? Thanks. BTW, congratulations on your tremendous season!!

Depending on your plans and what you want to do, but I would stay near the airport and you can hop on I 70. When we attended Colts games, we would go to Shapiro's Deli. Good food, reasonable price as you pay for parking but you use it as a credit towards food, IIRC.

Maybe a 10-15 min walk from the stadium but we always got out quickly from Shapiro's by taking Meridian to Morris. Then used Google maps to see if when we left Morris to head north back to I 70. Sometimes it was Missouri street, but usually we just went to Harding.

Again, it depends on your plans, flights, desires for food, etc. Good luck!

You can literally walk through tunnels from one side of the city to the other. You will soon realize why events are in Indy. Easy city to get around in.

As an Indy resident and someone who has worked downtown for 28 years I will say I'm not sure about the existence of any network of tunnels but Indy is as walkable as it gets. lf you know which buildings to cut through, there are lots of connections and covered/elevated walkways to use for avoiding weather. In general you can walk to Lucas Oil from any downtown hotel in under 30 minutes. Most of the downtown hotels are higher end. I can't say which is the best but I am not sure you can go too wrong with any hotel in a 1 mile radius of the stadium. Parking has gone up here like everywhere but prices are still probably more reasonable than most big cities. If you park early, you can probably find event parking for as little as $20 within 6-8 blocks. Meters are cheap and I believe offer the option to add time via an app. Staying away from downtown probably means a 30-40 minute drive from the suburbs depending on where you stay. The North/Northeast side probably offers the best selection of nice hotels, shopping, and quality restaurants in close proximity to each other. Just stick to outside the 465 loop and you'll probably be in good shape. Good luck!

There are a few hotels within a block of Lucas Oil, there are plenty of others that would be a 10-20 minute walk. If you are staying downtown, park at the hotel and walk.
If you are staying outside the downtown area, there is a parking garage across from the Conrad on Washington St that is usually reasonable and easy in/out.

I would stay in Seymour, and use the bird system, scooters that cost just a couple of bucks, they have gps , or I would stay downtown in one of the 30 or so hotels and walk to the game

If you do stay in Seymour, have lunch at Larrison’s, assuming it’s still around. Get a double cheese with grilled onions, fries, a bowl of chili and a big red to wash it down.
