Smith is not a scoring optionI'll just sit back and see what happens. Hopefully IU is at least competitive this upcoming year in the BIG. It all depends on Green and Smith. Those are the Hoosiers best scoring options and leaders. Davis and Hunter are mysteries.
And that would be four straight for iu. That would have to be a new record and new low point at IndianaTotally agree. Between the mid-season disaster and the swing and misses on recruits, I'm really second guessing Archie being the guy. He's seriously looking at three straight years with no dance.
He has to make the tourney or its likely over.Archie will get canned after next season
Our talent isn’t at the level of Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, etc., but we have some depth. Crean would have panicked and offered Grant Gelon and Tim Priller by now.LOL we have 10 healthy scholorship players on the roster. I guess these guys are finding much more playing team at Memphis, North Carolina, and Kentucky. Certainly this was a good thing!
It’s average talent, zero shooting, lack of length on the wing, and weak guard playOur talent isn’t at the level of Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, etc., but we have some depth. Crean would have panicked and offered Grant Gelon and Tim Priller by now.

Fanboys will be bullying you for sure for sharing this opinion...lolAfter performance last year and recruiting this spring Archie is in a free fall. This staff has been a huge huge disappointment.
You're an optimist at leastI don't think Davis is a mystery. He can give IU 10ppg if he is healthy, and be a great passer out of the block.
The potential scoring that could come from hunter would be similar to what IU got in 2008 with Jordan Crawford in terms of unexpected contributions.
Look at the 2007 team as a possible similarilty to this upcoming season though. That team had a couple seniors but had to rely on defense to win games. This 2019 2020 team certainly does not have a dj white/eric gordon combo (which the 08 team had to go with crawford and bassett).

Cmon - they are another year deep into understanding Archie’s system! If Smith, Davis, and Green are all year starters, Heaven help us. We’ve seen it. It doesn’t work.

Has a team ever averaged less than 30 points per game in the shot clock era?
So Davis is a very good low post player. Green improved A LOT last year including being more consistent. Smith also became more consistent and is a strong rebounder and good defender. Durham is a bench player unless he gets a lot better and hits his shot. Disagree on 3 of those. If TJD transitions well, Hunter is healthy and contributes solid minutes, and Franklin is solid off the bench, this could be a good team.If Smith, Davis, Durham and Green are all year starters, Heaven help us.
