Hope you’re right.
Va Tech likely jumped us last night.
Texas A&M might already have. But for sure will if they beat Kentucky today.
Davidson game shouldn’t matter I wouldn’t think. Unless IU is one of the last 1 or 2 teams in. Which I can’t imagine is true.
No chance VT gets a better seed than us. The ACC is straight trash, the computer knows it. I’ll be shocked if any of them make the second weekend. The big ten is gonna do well this year. Might even be there year.Hope you’re right.

IU's worst loss was vs the BTT #4 seed after they had turned the corner.Just the fact that we almost(shoulda) beat Iowa should get us out of a playin game! What are we, like 1-3 in game ending shots this year? RPs shot against Purdue is the only one we got. yesterdays loss and the Rutgers loss and I feel like there was another one. Those shouldnt count against us too much!
BIG can do well this year if the coaches make the adjustments necessary. The WWE and flopping crap won't cut it and they are going to have to start dribbling on the drives to the rim.B1G is balanced this year, but I wouldn’t say really good. They will struggle with non B1G refs!
The disparity in fouls called in a B1G game always amazes me - yesterdays MSU vs pu is an example 21 fouls vs 9!
I don’t know man, they just housed Notre Dame, North Carolina, and Duke. All solid NCAA teams. I’d be very surprised if they aren’t a 10-11 seed.No chance VT gets a better seed than us. Recency bias. They just drilled UNC and Duke. Who everyone loves. If we benefit from squeaking by Michigan and Illinois, and a close loss to Iowa. Surely they’ll get big bumps from clobbering UNC and Duke.they lost to BC….
UNC and Duke are both over rated this season. If Duke ends up on the two or even three line it weakens the bracket materially.Recency bias. They just drilled UNC and Duke. Who everyone loves. I know the whole resume probably says different.
NC state!!! The committee said they weigh every game no matter November or March.Recency bias. They just drilled UNC and Duke. Who everyone loves. If we benefit from squeaking by Michigan and Illinois, and a close loss to Iowa. Surely they’ll get big bumps from clobbering UNC and Duke.

Unlikely to be UK--they're likely going to be in Indy, and the committee wouldn't put us there to give us a home crowd advantage in a R64 game (we'd have to be a protected seed to get that).I think we're an 11 with Duke or UK the 3 in the same bracket. Bring it bitches!
If we are an 11 seed, we will play a 6 seed in the first game and then 3 if we win. I actually think this is a good position for us. Additionally, I think one of the things that hurt us this year is that we did not play “big ten “ wrestleball. I almost think different officiating may benefit teams like us and Illinois and will hurt Wisconsin and MSU.
I have VT as a 9 with us as an 11. Their metrics are better than us by a mile (and that's even with us beating MICH and ILL).No chance VT gets a better seed than us. The ACC is straight trash, the computer knows it. I’ll be shocked if any of them make the second weekend. The big ten is gonna do well this year. Might even be there year.

Which is why they'll probably be bounced early much like last year. The NCAA tournament isn't the UFC.Kofi is just a man child. I’m talking about all the pushing and grabbing on cuts and the lack of fouls on drives that other leagues call regularly.
Man I saw one of the guys on the committee say the brackets were mostly done on Thursday. They point blank asked about the conference tournaments. He basically said they don’t carry as much weight. First time I heard that.NC state!!! The committee said they weigh every game no matter November or March.
Then we are phukked.Man I saw one of the guys on the committee say the brackets were mostly done on Thursday. They point blank asked about the conference tournaments. He basically said they don’t carry as much weight. First time I heard that.
They carry the same weight as November. When VT lost to mc state at home. We have no bad losses. And some great dubs. Enjoy this day. What metrics exactly? Nonconf SOS, yes, but beyond that most metrics have IU about equal or ahead. They had 1 Q1 win entering the ACC tournament, and only 3 now, and 2 Q3 losses.I have VT as a 9 with us as an 11. Their metrics are better than us by a mile (and that's even with us beating MICH and ILL).
Although then VT and A&M would be in worse shapeI thought the same
I get all that I’m just saying what the horse said. They carry the same weight as November. When VT lost to mc state at home. We have no bad losses. And some great dubs. Enjoy this day. Don’t stress
I’m thinking if what he says isn’t true then yes an 11 seed. If not might be in that 12 play in.Lol 11 seed or better book it.
I think what they mean is that, by Thursday of Conference Tourney Week, there are only a few spots left in play, with maybe 63 of 68 already claimed. You might have 12-16 teams that are battling for those last 5 at-large bids. For those teams conference tourney results matter, but a team like Baylor taking a loss really isn't that significant and may not even change their seed line.Man I saw one of the guys on the committee say the brackets were mostly done on Thursday. I could see the play in but the only reason is because IU gets eyeballs. This tournament is just as much a show as it is a sporting event. All I know is IU is 100000000% in.I’m thinking if what he says isn’t true then yes an 11 seed. If not might be in that 12 play in.
There are six metrics on the team sheets: NET, KPI (Kevin Pauga), SoR (component of ESPN's BPI), BPI, KenPom and Sagarin. Through last night:What metrics exactly? VT | 27 | 49 | 44 | 19 | 23 | 27 |

Barttorvik.com agrees with you. Love his site.I have VT as a 9 with us as an 11. Their metrics are better than us by a mile (and that's even with us beating MICH and ILL).
VT cannot be in the play in games. AQ’s are guaranteed to not have to play the play ins.No chance VT gets a better seed than us. The ACC is straight trash, the computer knows it. He really didn’t get specific. He was just saying most of the teams are picked. Not sending. He even stated the late games won’t move much. Man I wish I could find it. It’s not the one with Katz.I think what they mean is that, by Thursday of Conference Tourney Week, there are only a few spots left in play, with maybe 63 of 68 already claimed. I don’t think that’s the case because 16 seed AQ teams are in play in gamesVT cannot be in the play in games AQ’s are guaranteed to not have to play the play ins.
pretty sure I watched that. with KEllog? He really didn’t get specific. He was just saying most of the teams are picked. Not sending. He even stated the late games won’t move much. Man I wish I could find it. It’s not the one with Katz.
