A hand in the back (handchecking) and a forearm in the back are both a push … and hence a foul.
Yes it’s not always called … when it is called, it’s often to keep play from getting any rougher.
An arm bar (to me in basketball) is more often a rebounding or offensive foul where a player seeks to obtain or extend an advantage.
In wrestling and judo … arm bars are elbow dislocations waiting to happen.
This is a game where everyone is happy. Fans are happy for the win while the negative nancy's get to scream.
The run was far more on Minny hitting circus shots than it was a breakdown by IU. It was Minny's finest four minutes this season.
I think it started with the two late half TOs … IU did not run the clock, and didn’t score.
It’s very difficult to not be annoyed when this has happened in…well a lot of their games now. No clue what the answer is.
Obviously Minny hit a lot of crazy shots. But they hit a lot of open shots too. And we had a lot of turnovers and bad shots.
A win is a win I guess.
Sure was … one man wrecking crew … making tough shot after tough shot … he was even hotter than MD‘s Fats earlier in the week.
If Minny had started hitting two minutes earlier we lose this one. The trajectory was all their way and we were not stopping it.
Three or four and that had a lot to do with being too casual after a spectacular performance. Minny had a great run and hit shit out of their ass.
Good win on the road.
