Minnesota strands one runner in scoring position.

Sweeney led off and struck out looking and J. Kelley grounded out to first base unassisted. C. Kelley then hit a fly ball to left-center and Ashley could not come up with the catch. It hit off his glove and went into center field, which gave enough time for C. Kelley to move to second base. Wilhite then flied out to the warning track in left field and Ashley made a great diving catch.

Barr struck out swinging, Van Pelt grounded out to third and Fougerousse flied out to right-center.

Minnesota strands another runner in scoring position.

Bork fouled out to third base, but Berghammer doubled to left-center. He then advanced to third on a wild pitch. However, he was left stranded after Bateman struck out swinging and Bertrand grounded out to shortstop.

B3: Mid-Inning Update

Colopy popped out to shortstop and Hopkins doubled to left-center. Espalin then drew a one-out walk to put runners on first and second.

That ball is outta here! Outta here! Drew Ashley hits a three-run home run to give Indiana a 3-0 lead! "He hit it out of sight!"

Toetz struck out swinging and then Richardson grounded out to first base unassisted to end the inning.

Indiana extends the lead to 6-0.

Barr drew a leadoff walk and scored after Van Pelt doubled down the left-field line. Fougerousse grounded out to short, but Colopy doubled to center field and Van Pelt scored from second. Hopkins then singled to left field and Colopy moved to third to put runners on the corners. Espalin then reached on a fielding error by 3B Kyle Bork and Colopy scored from third to make it a 6-0 game. Ashley then grounded into a 4-3 inning-ending double play.

Wilhite drew a leadoff walk and then Bork grounded into a 6-4-3 double play. Bergammer then was walked to put a runner on first with two outs.

Bateman bunted back to Scott and was thrown out at first.

Toetz hit a deep fly ball to left field but was robbed of a home run by Minnesota LF Wilhite, Minnesota SS Berghammer made a diving catch up the middle and Barr struck out looking.

RHP Nathan Stahl replaced LHP Braden Scott

Minnesota cuts the lead to 6-1.

Bertrand led off the inning and hit a solo home run to right field. Raabe then fouled out to right field, Sweeney struck out looking and J. Kelley flied out to right-center. Richardson made a great running catch before crashing into the wall in right-center.

If it wasn't for Bertrand, Minny would not have had much offense at all in either game.
 
B6:

A pitch hit Van Pelt to start the inning and he moved to second after Fougerousse grounded out to third. Colopy then singled through the left side and Van Pelt went to third. Hopkins then bunted and Van Pelt was out at home. Next up to bat, Espalin also bunted and was thrown out at first to end the inning.

Indiana strands a runner in scoring position.

Ashley led off and flied out to right-center field. Toetz then singled to center field but was thrown out at second base after Richardson hit a ground ball to second base. Richardson beat the throw at first and later moved to second after a balk was called on Minnesota pitcher DeLuga. Barr flied out to the warning track in deep left field to end the inning.

J. Kelley struck out swinging and C. Kelley struck out looking. Wilhite then hit a ground-rule double to left field, but Bork grounded out to Litwicki to end the game.

Indiana won both games of the doubleheader today.
