Jaxson Fugate for FW North is a very high level player as well. North has some length to contend with Pickett. Should be a decent game.

Always forget he plays for North and mistakenly think he plays for Wayne.

Does the NLC still go thru Nappanee?
NLC is likely wide open this year.

NW obviously still good with Raasch and Wolfe returning. But they lost quite a lot of scoring/production, and their talent depth back filling isn't yet any where near the level of kids they lost.

Mishawaka looks to be very solid. They have decent size and athleticism, and good experience returning. Brady Fisher, their QB, is a really good versatile big. Johnson is really good on the wing.

Warsaw is nearly always in contention. They have a quality big to contend with Raasch, and other good NLC bigs. Gould is an experienced returning PG. And they have a couple really good shooters on the wing in Bricker and Finlinson. And being Warsaw, they have size to fill in the gaps.

Goshen will be a lot better this year than they've been in recent years. They return a couple really good key players. Their big, Eldridge, is going to Ball State as an offensive linemen. They have a couple really solid sophomore guards that will determine whether or not they can compete with NW, Warsaw, etc...

Plymouth will also be a lot better this year than recent years. They've been playing with younger kids for a couple years, and now they're more experienced. Ellery is a high level, bigger wing. And they have some quality guards with him.

Concord and Wawasee both have decent talent this year. I would be surprised if either of them end up contending for the title, but both of them are capable of beating most of the teams on a given night. Wawasee has a new coach, who has a very long and established track record of success at other schools, so they could end being a Wild Card.

Northridge should compete at the top. They're not deep, so staying healthy will be important. But they have one of the better overall players in the conference in junior Mason Bales. And their big, sophomore Brady Scholl, should end up being one of the better bigs in the conference this year. Around them, they have 4-5 solid guards/wings. They don't have any seniors on the roster, so they should have a pretty good 2 year run these next couple years.

I won't pick against my Raiders! But I think the eventual conference champ will come from Warsaw, Mishawaka, Goshen, or Northridge.

There's a scouting report on the NLC conference in northern Indiana for anyone that actually read all this!!
