One obvious problem with the first Trump administration was he had no staff ready to step in and provide needed advice and support. As a result he surrounded himself with a hodge-podge of friends, cronies Washington insiders, and establishment veterans. The ensuing personal disaster was easily understood.

Not so this time. It seems that Trump will form his own dream team of advisors who really are capable of making some positive changes

Wiles
Musk
Vivek
Tulsi
RFK Jr.
J.D.

All very smart and capable. A wealth of varying experience. All with a record of accomplishments. Most importantly, Trump listens to them.

Musk said he can’t wait to use the delete button on gov. I love this crew. Not old gov entrenched goose steppers. These guys are going to make things better or a whole lot worse. But at least we’ll know

That’s not entirely correct. Some questionable people like the Mooch, but some capable people Like Gary Cohen. His problem was that he didn’t listen to them and let experts do their job.

As I have posted previously, PDJT did not have decades of background in political parties..he had no 'bench' of rent-seeking functionaries eager for their slice of the big time. I think he was naive and didn't fully understand the depth of corruption among the players in Washington....he listened to Republican Party actors who had zero loyalty to their President or the American people, resulting in the despicable Pence, Barr, Sessions, Pompeo and any number of others who worked tirelessly to undercut him at any term. I don't think he had a clue just how deep the rot in the DOJ, FBI, CIA, had penetrated...
He knows who the skunks were now.

You’re correct with Pence. Nothing more despicable than upholding the constitution
