A little game within the game here… looking at Evan Miya and stats.
Leal has been over 30 minutes in 4 of the last 5 games. He may not be a stat stuffer, but Miya now has Leal in all the most efficient five-man lineups. He’s got great chemistry with Reneau, Luke, Galloway and Rice. He’s also playing good D, 4th best on team (Carlyle is 7th).
Thing is, Carlyle has been seeing more and more minutes lately… after four straight games out he’s now had increasing minutes the last four games… 4, 7, 10, 17…
Leal + Carlyle lineups are near the worst on the team. Sooo… let’s see what happens going forward. Does Woody go back to his transfer? Or Leal? Or both? Something to watch.
