One thing that has really become clear to me on this 4 game win streak that does not show up in the box score is the clear emergence of Trayce as a leader. I do not think this is by accident nor organic. I believe that Coach Woodson has mentored, coached and challenged him to help him grow as a leader. I have been very critical of both CMW and TJD and want to recognize both of them here. It’s great to see. I know it’s not uncommon for “player only” meetings to take place. Trayce called and led it. Since that time the team is 4-0 and absent last nights performance as a team, the team is very locked in. Trayce is on a historic run and clearly is putting this team on his back. Need to continue to see the rest of the team fill in the gaps and contribute, obviously. However. Tip of the hat to you TJD. Awesome to see him bust out like this in his senior year and these leadership traits and behaviors will bring him much success far beyond the basketball floor. Now let’s go whip OSU this Saturday!!
