Sorry, I'm finishing up my lobster roll and Sam Adams beer. I don't have time for cute little college programs. I'm the GM of the most storied franchise in basketball and am managing a team that might repeat as champs after winning NBA Exec of the Year last year.

I'm only 48, so for my next act I might try to join an ownership group, or maybe answer the call to run for Governor or Senator from Massachusetts. My wife and I, after having lived in Boston as rich people, have no desire to live in Bloomington.

Maybe I can send Joe Mazzulla your way when he's in his 60s if his career record dips below .500? Joe's got no Div I college coaching experience, but how hard could it be?

I just don't understand how we can be so bad at 3 pt shooting, and, at home, yet! And our 3 pt sharpshooter goes 1-9. Hit's his first one, and then misses 8 in a row. Unbelievable! If I was the coach, at the end of practice, I'd have them standing at the three point line, shooting 3's, and not let them leave until each man has hit, say, 5 in a row, and, at least, 12 for 20. Maybe that would make each of them concentrate, and perfect their shooting skill. Didn't Coach Knight do something like that with free throws?

Woody deserves more praise than we’re giving him. He’s building something special and it’s taking a little more time than most would like. Let’s give him 2-3 more years before overreacting.

"building something"? The players are here for a big paycheck only and will be gone it 1-2 years. He needs to actually land a couple of HS recruits - preferably Indiana HS recruits - to build something.

Agree on MM but Goode’s shots were pretty much uncontested wide open shots. I don’t get how he can make the first one and miss the next eight. I bet in practice he could shoot nine threes all day long and never only make one of nine.
