Langford projected at number 6 in the NBA draft (link)

Romeo is a good player but he’s not a once in a generation type guy. He’s going to have to improve in a lot of categories to stay in the nba. It wouldn’t surprise me if he starts in the g league. How will he respond to criticism? He has never had to deal with it not even in college? He takes plays off, is a medicore shooter, and his defense isn’t that great. Don’t get me wrong, it if he works hard at improving his deficiencies, he could have a good nba career, but he’s not going to be able to do what he wants like he has his whole life playing basketball. His best weapon is driving to the basket, and taking contact or shooting the 15 footer. Occasionally, he will knock down a 3. He would never do it, but returning to Indiana would help him immensely.
Yes he did. Have you seen UCLAs roster? They may not have had a top 6 pick but they have talent (more so than IU) all over the court.
You got that right, the Bruins can go nine deep against any opponent.
Hands and Wilkes are Key though.

His draft position isn't dependent on the team's performance.
I think IU has to make it to the dance (win 2) to help his lottery chances. It's just to many guards that will overshadow Langford. JA Morant
Markus Howard and others will certainly be looked at.

UCLA was plagued with major injuries in October, they used these injuries as a way to fire Alford, that's a fact.

Whether Romeo plays in the NCAA tourney will have no effect on his NBA draft position. The NBA has been scouting him for at least a couple of years. Now the combine, interviews, team workouts, etc will have a big impact.

Romeo will be fine once he is with a coach who understands offense.

Romeo is not mentally ready. It is clear and I'm tired of arguing the point because I'd rather not. I think his career in the NBA will be longer and more prosperous if he stays and develops his mental and physical skills in college.
He isn't staying at IU after this season, even if they had had a coach
or trainer who could guarantee him the mental and physical traits.

Romeo is also a high character guy, which makes him low risk.

Actually, he is a very good defender. Obviously, your assessment of him is through a biased vision.

He a decent defender when he wants to be. He needs to be drafted by someone who will push him. He’s never had a coach tell him what he’s going to do and now what he wants to do. If someone can get him playing out of his comfort zone, he could be really good.

He doesn't know how to play in a 5 man offense and he doesn't move well off the ball.

Claiming that college develops better than pros .. that's nonsense.

Tell that to Jerry Collangelo. College is where the best coaches are because coaches want to teach the game. Being talented doesn't mean a kid knows anything about winning as a team. They certainly don't teach that in the NBA.

He'll get drafted high. The team that gets him better be able to teach him to shoot and go to his left. Hell, I'm miles away from being an expert but I even knew he was going to drive right going to the bucket on that last play by Iu against Wiscy.
