Lander impresses

he, furst, and thomas would be very nice in 2021. but imo, we have to have a big year this year to make that happen.
Won't the one and done rule be gone by the time he comes out of hs? If so he may not even play college.

I found out something interesting/ An Evansville IU radio affiliate has done a poor job with consistently broadcasting IU football and basketball. They will often not broadcast a game, or cut the postgame or pregame show for a variety of other programming. I found out the President of the station is Edward Lander. I have a strong feeling he is an uncle or possibly the father of Khristian Lander based on social media comments. I guess I will stop complaining for a while. Maybe the coverage will improve if Lander comes to IU!

I spoke to a local coach and the player with the most upside from Evansville in the next couple of years is Kiyon Powell. I am hearing he has been improving quickly and a good summer may land him a second look from IU.

Sad to say .I went all over the state to see player's last year..
And only live an hour from some of his games..
But haven't seen him yet..But a friend of mine who works for 24/7 ..Say's he's the real deal.Super explosive...And if he's the #1 p.g. and has a good summer ..He'll break into that top 10 -15 group..

Powell is a good player. IU will have some rivals for his services. He is fond of Purdue. I think if Purdue doesn't get Dickinson, Powell might be the next on Painter's list.

It is definitely not his father. His father is Keith Lander, an Evv Harrison defensive back that played collegiately for Western Kentucky. I'm not sure if he is closely related. The ones that I knew of were Evv Bosse grads. His cousin Vicki is an Indiana HOFer. She was a 2x All-Big West player at UNLV. He had a cousin that played at WIU.
