Lamar Wilkerson Commits to IU

JUCO kid would be helpful. Seems like an Auburn type player though.
I think he could give some minutes. Obviously, his length is incredible. Looks like he has good hands and moves well. He is young and needs development. He is only 210 lbs and lack of strength shows even at the JUCO level video. But the length and hands look impressive.
Would be nice if we could get him and add some weight and strength before the season.

Last year, I watched fil of Kanaan Carlyle and was scratching my head about people calling him a shooter.
Well, it doesn't take but 30 seconds to see that this Wilkerson kid CAN shoot. He squares up nicely and gets his body in position to go up with it before the catch. I like this guy!

For Ss and Gs:

RAF Commander A.T. Harris 1942 in a leaflet dropped all over Germany:

RANSLATION OF G.41, EINE BOTSCHAFT DES OBERBEFEHLSHABERS…
W H Y B O M B S ?

A MESSAGE FROM THE COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF OF THE BRITISH
BOMBERS TO THE GERMAN PEOPLE.

As Commander-in-Chief of the British bombing aircraft raiding Germany I have
decided to send this message to the German people.
We in Britain know quite enough about air raids! For ten months your Luftwaffe
has bombed us. First you bombed us by day. When we made this impossible,
they came by night. Then you had a big fleet of bombers. Your airmen fought
well. They bombed London for 92 nights running. They made heavy raids on
Coventry, Plymouth, Liverpool and other British cities. They did a lot of damage.
Forty-three thousand British men, women, and children lost their lives. Many of
our most cherished historical buildings were destroyed.
You thought, and Goering promised you, that you would be safe from bombs,
and indeed, during all that time we could only send over a small number of
aircraft in return. But now it is just the other way. Now you send only a few
aircraft against us, and we are bombing Germany heavily.
Why are we doing so? It is not revenge - though we do not forget Warsaw,
Belgrade, Rotterdam, London, Plymouth and Coventry. We are bombing
Germany, city by city, and ever more terribly in order to make it impossible for
you to go on with the war. That is our object. We shall pursue it remorselessly.
City by city: Lubeck, Rostock, Cologne, Emden, Bremen, Wilhelmshaven,
Duisburg, Hamburg - and the list will grow longer and longer.

Let the Nazis drag you down to disaster with them if you will. That is for you to decide.
In fine weather we bomb you by night. Already one thousand bombers go to one
town, like Cologne, and destroy a third of it in an hourʹs bombing. We know, we
have the photographs. In cloudy weather we bomb your factories and shipyards
by day. We have done that as far as Danzig. We are coming by day and by night.
No part of the Reich is safe....

Soon we shall be coming every night and every day, rain, blow or snow - we and
the Americans. I have just spent eight months in America, so I know exactly
what is coming. We are going to scourge the Third Reich from end to end, if you
make it necessary for us to do so. You cannot stop it, and you know it.
You have no chance."
Well that certainly was a we are breaking your morale, your sense of superiority, and your supposed indestructible ideology. All of which those bombings did. Nazis loved giving punches but had glass chins once their country perimeters were penetrated. That was very interesting as Col. Klink would say.

That's the difference between potential vs proven.

Proven means they've done before, potential means they haven't but showed signs. Considering you complained about Clayton's shooting and even mocked him as Steph Curry .... *eyeroll*

Cupps may have to go to Sam Houston state to be successful
He needs new parents with different genetics. Maybe Buckeye donor said definite signee (hire) and here’s the money It was always so surprising to me to look at the list of Ohio Mr Basketballs and see LeBron and Gabe-WTF.

Speaking of genetics-USC has at least one player that doesn’t need NIL. Agent Zero Junior doesn’t come from a poor background and will likely go in the first round sometime. I don’t believe they are in the running for Tajh Ariza but they still have a niche with Bronny and Alijah Arenas both playing there. Bronny didn’t get the genetics (mom) and solidly a nepo Laker. You can’t fault LeBron in principle for looking after his son but as a member of a pro team you have to.

No pulling guns on a teammate in the locker room at USC Alijah.

They took my guy to a horse race that wasn’t the Kentucky derby and he was like ya….. get me the F outta here.

COME ON! Now this is a huge get. We got 2 snipers. Dare I say, we are gonna be able to shoot next year for the first time in a decade.
It is funny to see the change so quickly. Likely gonna go from one of the worst shooting teams in the conference/country to having maybe the 2 best shooters (on paper) in the conference. His interview on Field of 68 After Dark is worth a listen.

There are still rules?

Who knew! :D
I’m interested to see what rules will be put in place over the next few years. Like you can’t enter the portal in consecutive years unless you’re a grad transfer. Or if schools and NIL contracts start adding in stipulations for staying at least two years unless you pay a penalty. I’m wondering if players will start challenging the eligibility rules saying as long as they are full-time students they should be able to keep playing. So guys who know they won’t make it in the NBA will just stay in school for 6-8 years and make a couple hundred grand per year. Who knows…might be some interesting stuff coming down the road.

Heard him say he grew up on Chili's and Applebee's. Keeneland and those folks were probably not his cup of tea.

Horse lovers are a different breed. Not everyone appreciates horses. I was once married to a gal on the weekend show horse circuit. Their clothes smell after a bout in the arena. Horses are constant work and a money drain. It’s a very pretentious hobby.

Like having any pet, suddenly everything is more complicated. Can't do a spur of the moment weekend getaway without making plans for the dog. Never understood why my dad refused to let us have any pets as kids, until I had a dog.

I was always told, "Don't own anything that eats while you are sleeping." That is why I like motorcycles, Buggies, Jeeps. Stuff that only eats when I'm using them.
