Seems he must be waiting for something, or did the recruiters at Creighton and Wake not get the memo, and it says more offers to come. Would be highly unusual for a top 10 recruit to wind up at Bradley. You never know what will happen, so we can't afford not to pursue i would think.

We are not pursuing. He's a top 10 recruit in our state and we aren't recruiting him at all. That should tell you everything you need to know. We aren't the only ones not pursuing either.

There is a chance Adams leverages this for a bigger job or bigger pay day at Bradley.

Does Flory have any range? Seems like an awful high ranking if he doesn’t. I get it though. He scored 27 against Booker (among others)but we saw the range of Booker open the lane for the rest to score and rebound.

I personally haven't seen him, he's now just an upperclassmen in high school. I'm guessing that's the case for a lot of college teams as he has made a loud appearance onto the recruiting scene. If he continues to develop it's absolutely effing hilarious to think that a program like Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, etc is going to shy away from this kid because "Drew Adams has him in the bag".

From the limited highlight tapes I've seen, he's a very physically imposing big with tons of natural strength and athleticism, but at the same time he's pretty raw with a limited skillset. Not sure Booker and Bidunga ever overlap given Booker's skillset which makes him an ideal one and done type prospect. But IU is also pursuing Arrinten Page (who has blown up in his own right this summer) as well as Derik Queen who may or may not reclassify who right now have similar skillsets to Bidunga.

But anyone who thinks his recruitment is over because of Drew Adams is nuts. It's now just getting started.

Its not completely unprecedented. Baldwin Jr. going to Milwaukee just last year is an example that pops into my mind. There was a very highly ranked kid recently that went to an HSBC school over some high major schools.

But its is INCREDIBLY rare. And everything in me says that the only reason Budinga has been so loyal to Drew Adams thus far, was Adams guaranteed him a D1 opportunity, when he wasn't on anyone else's radar. As soon as he starts getting Kentucky type offers, that loyalty will be seriously challenged. And assuming Adams is still at Bradley, he'd be doing Budinga a huge disservice by not pushing him to either a bigger school, or to the G League.

Budinga reminds me of DeAndre Ayton. If he ends up anywhere near that level here in the next year or so, he'll play high major D1, or will go to the G League. Regardless of where Adams is at. Doesn't matter what has been said or promised up to this point.

It's exactly where I'm at. Nobody knew who this kid was until early January. If he's that good, you'd have to be delusional if you think the Kentucky's, Duke's, Kansas's of the world are going to back off on recruiting him because an assistant coach at Bradley's father brought got him a visa into the US. And you don't need to pay $10/month either to understand that.

Agreed 100%. Gun to my head I don't think he ever plays a minute collegiately. Overtime Elite and/or G-League Ignite are a match made in heaven for this kind of prospect.
