For some recruiting news, a few notes on some notable players.
The new Rivals150 for the 2024 class were released this week.
Here are some of the 5-star prospects Indiana is involved with:
No. 2 - Flory Bidunga
No. 3 - Dylan Harper
No. 7 - Liam McNeeley
No. 8 - Asa Newell
No. 14 - Tyler Betsey
Here is the full ranking list:
---
On 2024 five-star Tyler Betsey ... he is a 6-foot-8 wing from St. Thomas More (Ct.) and was set to visit Indiana in December. Scheduling issue forces a reschedule and now he is looking to visit again.
On Indiana: "Maybe in the spring, maybe in the fall I’m not sure yet. I’ve been talking to Yasir Rosemond a lot . . . Mike Woodson keeps reaching out a lot. He coached in the NBA and having a coach that was where I want to be one day is intriguing."
Some of the programs involved are Duke, UConn, Rutgers, Michigan State and others. Indiana is in the main group.
Here is more about his recruitment as a whole:

As for the main group of 2024s, Indiana is very much in the lead group for five-star wing Liam McNeeley and forward Asa Newell.
At this rate, I would say Indiana is strongest with those two prospects.
Looking beyond those: Indiana is doing every the right way with No. 2 overall player and Kokomo (Ind.) forward Flory Bidunga. Cincinnati is still very much strong here. Auburn, Michigan State, Kentucky, Purdue are some others involved. This recruitment will really take shape in the next few months. He has taken four unofficial visits to Indiana.
Four-star point guard from Lyon County (Ky.) Travis Perry is very much interested in Indiana. He has been on campus three times and took a visit to Indiana the day after receiving his official offer last month. Kentucky, Purdue, Michigan, Ole Miss, Virginia some of the other programs involved here. Kentucky is an interesting one -- we'll see how much they continue to press. Both Indiana and Kentucky have seen him within the last month.
Three-star wing Caleb Williams from Sidwell Fiends (DC) is among the top players Indiana is heavily involved with. He has visited Indiana twice -- an official visit for Hoosier Hysteria and a return visit earlier this season for an unofficial visit. Michigan, Virginia, Maryland, Villanova some of the other key programs here.

Four-star Carmel Christian (NC) guard Jaeden Mustaf is still someone to keep an eye on. He had a visit set for the fall but had to reschedule. He continues to look to get to Indiana. Looking like something could get set up for the summer. Virginia Tech, Indiana, Rutgers, Florida State, NC State, Georgetown the programs most involved here.
