Kevin Stallings fired after 2 seasons............

I would agree and I do think we will see at least 2 to 3 transfers after the season. I just think it is idiotic to say Underwood has turned UI around based on the last 4 games. It is just like when we were 12-2 and people thought we had turned it around. You have to look at the body of work and not just a snap shot of the season.
Well Underwood has currently jumped us in the standings without his own players and without a culture. Just saying.

UI 10-15
IU 13-11

I guess you just look at the last few games to make a point but look at the total body of work
He has won four in a row without having a culture. He has his team trending at the right timne without having his own recruits. They said it could not be done but yet he is on a roll without his own recruits. Amazing

Over exaggerate much, nobody said it can't be done but just because Archie doesn't have it turned around doesn't eman he can't. it has been proven a lot of the all time great coaches started out slowly at their first big time job. Nobody has said that Archie will be the next coach K or Izzo or Wright but he will be given a chance to prove it and show that he can without the lunatic fans calling for his head after 1.5 years.

It is about improvement as the season goes on. It is about things looking like they are going in the right direction. I get we cannot judge for two more years but I am not seeing any improvement. Illinois winning 5 of 6 is not a fluke imo but really I guess it could be since it is a year you cannot judge Underwood yet either.

I do not recall saying he shoud be fired right now but do ignore there are not currently red flags is flat out delusional imo.

Even bad team usually have a decent stretch where they play well but it doesn't mean they have turned it around. Just like our start it appeared we were doing well but we really was dominate in that stretch so you shouldn't judge something on a short term basis. I think it would be useful for all of us to start thinking with our heads and not our emotions because you usually don't make great judgments when thinking with our emotions. You think The Cleveland Browns look back and think it was a mistake to fire Bill Belicheat after all of his success in New England.

Allright this is pointless. Obviously, it is fluke and Archie is the man. I am not sure there is really much else to discuss.

I totally agree. It is a complete fluke that Brad Underwood has Illinois rolling in his 2nd year without a culture and without his own recruits. Same deal with Chris Mack. They need to understand you need a minimum of four years with your own players and six years of a culture before you can get something going. You simply cannot have success until year three minimum and likely not until year five.
Has anybody told Chris Mack this stark truth?
