As to the last part, for 85$ a seat … I would expect the Lexington room at Keeneland to be good.

My wife and I lived 30 mile south of Lexington after we finished college and got married.We went to Lexington every weekend. UK sucks, but we have a lot of good memories there. Keeneland, The Red Mile, a nightclub called The Fizz and a couple others I don't remember. We went often to Comedy on Broadway near Rupp Arena.
