Sampson then Self. The two most corrupt coaches. Neither should be allowed on the floorMy first thought is that they look very impressive today.
My second thought is that cheating = success. Does any other DI school have more violations pending against them? Or were they all just dropped?
Slick Rick?Sampson then Self. The two most corrupt coaches. Neither should be allowed on the floor
Winner of Duke UNC will win.Kansas is going to win championship. Cheaters and they don’t care
Unc playing some good ball at the right time.Winner of Duke UNC will win.
Duke and UNC look a clsss above Nova and KUUnc playing some good ball at the right time.
Who woulda thunk the acc would have the showing they have in the ncaa tournament. I guess that’s why they play the games.Duke and UNC look a clsss above Nova and KU
Duke and UNC look a clsss above Nova and KU
Why would the NCAA care about something that happened in the past now that they are out of the enforcement business? What *are* the rules anymore, anyway? And do the marquee programs even give a rip about what the NCAA pronounces?
Has nothing to do with IU. You seem to have an unhealthy obsession with non-IU coaches.Him as well
Neither did the other post….we were discussing a game IU wasn’t involved in.Has nothing to do with IU. You seem to have an unhealthy obsession with non-IU coaches.
No, you were obsessing on other coaches. See how easy this is?Neither did the other post….we were discussing a game IU wasn’t involved in.

They aren't dropped. The NCAA is glacially slow on the penalty phase, but I wouldn't be surprised if KU's record in this tournament ends up being declared null and void like Louisville's was a few years ago.My first thought is that they look very impressive today.

Wishful thinking. The ncaa is about to be powerless Besides, the ku shat was years ago. They aren't dropped. The NCAA is glacially slow on the penalty phase, but I wouldn't be surprised if KU's record in this tournament ends up being declared null and void like Louisville's was a few years ago.
I have no idea if anything will come of the allegations against Kansas or not, but the fact that it is taking so long isn't necessarily an indication that nothing will happen. In cases against schools/programs where there are either criminal or civil charges pending, it can take a substantial amount of time for the NCAA to get access to important documents or witnesses. They often have to wait for evidence and statements to be released by prosecutors or the courts before they have all they need to validate the allegations and hand down punishment. Serious infractions charges can take a while, especially if the schools are playing the "we won't cooperate" game.Wishful thinking. Nova is the 4th best team left.I'll be cheering for Nova. I'm still old-school enough to enjoy watching programs that teach players to play off two-feet and it makes me feel good to see teams like that still enjoy success.
Nobody is beating UNC as they are playing now, just not going to happen, Caleb Love should go #1 iMOWinner of Duke UNC will win.
Not more violations, but far more pervasive......................UNC.My first thought is that they look very impressive today.

Without Justin Moore, they'll struggle.Nova is the 4th best team left.

Is the NCAA really "out of the enforcement business"?Why would the NCAA care about something that happened in the past now that they are out of the enforcement business?
Either way, IU will be fine, and should be able to do well now that it’s legal to buy players. With our boosters we should be able to buy some good teams.
hopefully this wild Wild West won’t last too long, and we can just get to the point where there is a salary cap.
Technically, no. But they’ve had their wings clipped. And, their power will continue erode.
Just never self report and you are good.Kansas is going to win championship. Cheaters and they don’t care
Depends on the school they will hit lower schools or maybe even a Memphis but a school like Kansas or North Carolina forget it. Those schools can do whatever they want.
That and the fact that their compliance staff is like Andy and Barney trying to police NYC. Just too many schools to police vs. available staff.I have no idea if anything will come of the allegations against Kansas or not, but the fact that it is taking so long isn't necessarily an indication that nothing will happen. UNC put on a clinic on how to deal with NC2A violations allegations. Delay, deflect, and deny.Just never self report and you are good.
Nonsense. Obviously, many here have short memories - or don't care about cheating. Many top level football and basketball programs have been given major penalties for infractions. Kentucky, Florida State, Ohio State, USC, Auburn, Louisville, Alabama, Miami, Florida, Georgia, and SMU (death penalty after being a top football program for several years) and others come to mind without looking it up. Fricking Louisville had their latest championship declared void and they're waiting on the hammer coming from the shoe scandal now. It's most likely why their basketball recruiting has been bad the last couple years and why several of their players are transferring.Depends on the school they will hit lower schools or maybe even a Memphis but a school like Kansas or North Carolina forget it. Those schools can do whatever they want.
Which is why I prefer to watch High School ballgames. My fav's are watching 1A and 2A Schools. Why would the NCAA care about something that happened in the past now that they are out of the enforcement business?

What a horrible final 4. Only way it could be worse would be to sub Purdue & UK in for Kansas & Villanova.Another final four I likely won't even watch. I will be for Villnova but really don't care
