Last year was a tough year for injuries and transfers. Every team has to deal with it but it seems that the injury bug has bitten IU more than most. Here is a list of players that IIRC, were lost last year due to injury or transfer etc...
1. Nate Sudfeld - SEI (season ending injury)
2. Tre Roberson - Tran (Transfer)
3. Cam Coffman - Tran
4. Tommy Mister - SEI
5. Steven Funderburke - SEI
6. Chris Covington - SEI
7. Danny Friend - SEI
8. Isaiah Roundtree - SEI
9. Nick Stoner - MG ( Missed a few games due to injury)
10. Peyton Eckart - CEI (Career ending injury)
11. Bernard Taylor - MG
12. Anthony Corsaro - MG
13. Marcus Oliver - SEI (IIRC season ended during the Mizzoo game)
14. Kenny Mullen - SEI
15. Nick Carovillano - NI (Nagging Injuries kept him form playing)
Note : Tevin Coleman played with a broken toe that would have taken most folks down.
I know that I am missing some but this seems kind of excessive to lose that many key players in one season.
This season that snake is back hissing around again with the likes of AA-dismissal, J-Shun Harris-SEI and Camion Patrick - (As of yet failing to qualify), Marqui Hawkins - (broken wrist -missed Spring Ball), Jordan Howard - (Missed a lot of Spring Ball due to elbow injury). I hope that Darius Latham's injury is as minor as Coach has mentioned. Man am I ready to see some Hoosiers get healthy.
