When you hire the wrong coaches, the facilities and the flagpoles carry no weight. Both Allen and Woody can recruit- but the questions still remain, can they coach them up? Both HC’s get more time to build their programs- but so far data supports us cynics as accurate and the sunshine pumping posts are absent.

Woodson has been at IU for part of one season. Hard to judge him on that.

Durham statistically is having an abysmal year. He’s shooting 32% from the field and 21% from 3. Absolutely putrid for a starting 2 guard in major college basketball. He does show up in crunch time and has a knack for hitting key free throws, but he’s the exact same player as last year playing on a better team this year.
